A Message from Charlie:
Over the past decade, CGA Technologies' portfolio has broadened in scope and deepened in impact. We are proud of our contribution to school enrolment growth, and now post-COVID re-engagement in schools in South Sudan – where our work has supported a tripling of enrolment 2014 to 2020 – Malawi and Sierra Leone. We are supporting Malawi’s national Social Cash Transfers Programme (see MoGCDSW’s Mtukula.com website), which provides cash transfers to 10% of households nationally, to make the transition to e-payments, and upgrade its MIS to be able to support payments to any subset of citizen at any amounts. And we are set to launch a new “3D NextGen” core participant database developed for project management across the Corus International family.
When we became part of the Corus family in 2019, the possibility of me one day going back to technical and IC work full-time and passing on the role of Managing Director to another was discussed. With so much going on, the Board of CGA has now agreed to make that switch in May/June this year. I am very grateful to them for this permission. My commitment to CGA and our mission is only increased by this step. I really can think of no place I’d rather be, no projects I’d rather work on, no chums I’d rather work with and no clients I’d rather serve.
