CGA was contracted to lead country coordination and education monitoring of the two GEC projects in Somalia. Working closely with CARE and Relief International, we carried out quarterly monitoring visits to verify project implementation progress, review quantitative and qualitative monitoring and evaluation and to ensure GEC was meeting its learning outcome targets in over 400 schools across Somalia and Somaliland.

Outputs and Resources

CGA supported project implementation through quarterly and annual project reviews, as well as carrying out liaison between DFID, the fund manager, the Somali Ministries of Education, and the projects.
