Following the pilot, CGA was selected to lead evaluation of the pilot and provide recommendations on a nationwide scale up. We conducted a case study assessment of participating schools and monitored the impact of a new teacher appraisal system on teacher absenteeism, learning outcomes, teacher practice and contact hours. We conducted case studies in four counties and our final report provided recommendations for potential future expansion, as well as for the Teacher management sector in general.
