Led by IMPACT/REACH, CGA supported short-term third-party monitoring of the DFID-funded Humanitarian and Resilience Programme in South Sudan (HARRISS).

HARRISS provided three million South Sudanese with critical life-saving support, helping them cope better with shocks caused by conflict, drought and flooding.

As part of the programme, CGA monitored the implementation of initial HARISS projects, with a focus on hard to reach areas.

Output

CGA established a telephone chasing team, and followed up on reporting, before ten field verification teams went to Nyirol, Renk, Melut, Ulang, Uror, Manyo, Aweil, Rumbek Central and North, and Yirols. They used mixed methods of ODK, KII, and FGDs.
