Lucy Ifould
Lucy Ifould is based in our office in Lilongwe, Malawi, where she has lived and worked since 2014. Most recently she worked on the GIZ Social Protection Programme supporting Balaka District Council to implement and harmonise of all social protection programmes in the district.
Lucy’s role with CGA Technologies is a natural progression from this, now supporting the Ministry of Gender Community Development and Social Welfare on the implementation of Malawi’s Social Cash Transfer Programme (SCTP). Lucy is responsible for overseeing all expenditure and operational processes in the 15 KFW/EU funded SCTP districts.
Before moving into social protection, Lucy led an education-focused NGO from start-up to maturity and still supports the organisation as a trustee of the UK and Malawi boards.
Lucy has a MSc degree in Global Mental Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and King’s College London.
