Emmanuel Sesay
Emmanuel joined CGA Technologies' Sierra Leone team in September 2024 as a GISI District Coordinator. He plays a key role in delivering the Girls in School Initiative (GISI) in Kambia and Port Loko districts, working closely with programme participants, schools, communities, and local government. Key responsibilities include identifying and enrolling eligible girls into the programme, ensuring accurate attendance reporting, timely cash transfers, and effective referrals for girls who need additional support.
Emmanuel brings a strong background in social work, with a MSc. Sociology with Community Development Studies (graduating December 2025) and BSc (Hons) and Higher National Diploma from Njala University. His experience spans community development, gender equity, programme delivery, and stakeholder engagement through roles with Safe Capital Microfinance, the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone, and CGA Technologies.
He combines strong analytical and coordination skills with a deep commitment to social justice and child wellbeing, ensuring that GISI remains responsive, community-centred, and grounded in the realities faced by vulnerable girls and their families.
