David McAfee
Interim Managing Director
David McAfee joins CGA Technologies as Interim Managing Director, providing strategic leadership across CGA’s portfolio and steering the next phase of its tech‑for‑dev work. He brings more than 17 years’ experience founding, scaling and transforming organisations across North America, Africa and Asia, with a focus on using technology and partnerships to improve lives in low‑ and middle‑income countries.
Before joining CGA, David co‑founded and served as CEO of Viamo, Inc., building a global digital platform that reaches millions of people. He previously held senior roles with PSI, including Country Director in Rwanda and establishing PSI’s office in Madagascar, and co‑founded Human Network International, which later joined forces with VotoMobile to create Viamo.
At CGA, David focuses on strengthening CGA’s software and data products, embedding technology across Corus International’s programmes, and advancing the organisation’s Five Fundamentals strategy.
