Access for all

Every community should be served by schools with the capacity and facilities to accommodate every child and actively support them to attend and stay in school, no matter their background or circumstance.
Quality learning

Schools should be healthy, inclusive and safe spaces, classroom sizes should be small, with qualified teachers in school teaching, using sufficient high quality teaching tools and materials for all to support improved learning outcomes.
Accountability

Education systems should be strong, adaptive and accountable at all levels, and supported by forward thinking policies, structures and practices and linked to health, welfare and protection systems.

How We Do It

We get to the heart of the matter.

Effective education transformation comes from in-depth knowledge and understanding.

We get into the detail. We continuously gather and analyse disaggregated (to the individual level) real-time data. We use it to understand challenges and barriers, and identify immediate and future needs and opportunities. We design solutions that strengthen policy and shape and drive system-appropriate, data-led change.
We get children into school.

Education starts with getting children into the classroom.

We build systems that monitor individual learners at-scale to increase national enrolment en masse. Our attendance systems provide valuable data to support improved decision making and can be adapted to deliver targeted programming, such as cash voucher assistance to the most vulnerable children.
We make sure teachers are in school too.

Learning can only begin when teachers are in the classroom teaching.

We build systems, develop processes and support the design and implementation of policies that reduce teacher absenteeism and maximise teacher - pupil interaction.
We proactively reach the hardest to reach.

The most vulnerable children should be actively supported to access and stay in school.

We help governments and partners address the complex and multi-sectoral barriers faced by the most vulnerable and marginalised children, including girls and children with disabilities, by using data at-scale to identify them and ensure they are effectively supported and included.
We improve education quality and outcomes.

Being in school isn’t the same as learning.

We build systems that can identify who is and isn’t learning and why, so that interventions can be targeted to meet specific needs, fill gaps and improve learning outcomes. We also harness digital opportunities to develop quality, low-cost teaching and learning materials at-scale, equipping teachers with the means to teach effectively in even the hardest to reach places.

Innovations should address core structures and functions to achieve transformation at scale.

We support governments to strengthen policy and develop each part of the education system, leading to improved data management, data-led decision making and increased accountability, payroll integrity, and teacher management.

We break down the silos between education, health, social protection and welfare systems, strengthening cross-sectoral links to ensure children are healthy, protected and supported. Our holistic approach means our systems capture data from across sectors, supporting improved decision-making across the board and enabling adaptive programming.
