Maya Lu

Maya joined CGA in August 2022 as a Fellow based in our Sierra Leone office providing support for the development of Wi De Ya, an education attendance monitoring system, and TMIS, a teacher management information system. 

Prior to joining CGA, Maya worked for the monitoring and evaluation team at USAID, using data science and machine learning to produce learnings for the agency. She has also worked as a researcher for Winrock International's anti-trafficking project in Thailand and at the US Immigration Policy Center at the University of California, San Diego. She holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Data Science from UC San Diego.
