Liz O’Neill
Liz has worked in East and Southern Africa since 2010 on basic services development, specialising in governance and technology reforms in education, health and social protection. She first joined CGA in 2013, to design the cash transfers component of the Girls’ Education South Sudan programme. Having moved to Lilongwe, Liz re-joined CGA for five years from 2015 as the Malawi Country Manager. During that time, she also worked on projects in Lesotho, South Sudan, Uganda and Kenya.
Currently, Liz manages our Malawi education portfolio and business development, whilst providing senior technical and pastoral support to the wider team. She holds a BSc in Economics with Spanish and an MSc in Poverty Reduction with Development Management.
